Reese Duncan wanted a wife, pure and simple. Someone to have children with, someone to help him rebuild his ranch, someone uncomplicated...and someone very different from his first wife, the woman who'd destroyed his life. But he hadn't bargained on Madelyn Patterson. She was sophisticated and citified, and she was willing to herd cattle, keep house and start a family with Reese. The only thing she asked for in return was love - the one thing Reese refused to guarantee.

Do Rykerian and the Guardians have the ability to meet this fierce barbarian’s ultimatums, or will January suffer a horrid demise?

and just becouse I know that you guys are trying to now what this book is about here is an amazing excerpt.

I was lost in the events of the day and the amount of work I had and I was still nursing my wounded ego as I headed out of the lab.  As I made my way down the corridor, I noticed six men advancing toward me.
It wasn’t their actions I noticed so much or even the way they walked.  And though it was an oddity for them to even be here at all, it was their attire that captured my attention.  They were dressed identically, in an extreme fashion, much like members of a gang or secret society.  Large and muscular, they wore black vests and their bare arms were almost completely tattooed with tribal symbols of a sort.  Metal bands criss-crossed their chests and their legs were tightly encased in leather.  Knee high boots and black gloves finished off their ensembles.
As I neared them I felt my flesh tingle and the hairs on the back of my neck come to attention.  Gooseflesh erupted and alarms started clanging in my head.  I sucked in my breath and as I did, my eyes connected with the apparent leader.  I say this because he was in the front of the formation as they plodded along.
Time stood still as our eyes connected.  His were an uncanny shade, lavender with hints of indigo and specks of silver.  It was a hue I was unfamiliar with but they were intriguing and fascinating.  The alarms were still ringing in my ears and the air felt electrically charged around us.
I turned into stone.  I couldn’t move a muscle.  He cocked his head as his eyes bore into mine.
I distinctly heard his command in my mind and I was helpless to disobey him.  I felt myself take a deep cleansing breath.  I questioned him with my eyes.  He flicked his head toward his men and they stepped back several feet.
“Who are you? Why are you here?”
I was confused by the demanding questions swirling in my brain but felt compelled to answer him.  I had never used mind reading to communicate, but I was sure he would hear my answer.
“I’m January St. Davis.  I’m here working on an internship for college credit.”
“You are human?” he asked with incredulity.
I wasn’t sure what he meant by that.  Why would he want to know if I was human?  What a ridiculous question!
About the A.M.

One day, on her way home from work as a sales manager, A. M. Hargrove, realized her life was on fast forward and if she didn't do something soon, it would quickly be too late to write that work of fiction she had been dreaming of her whole life.  So, she rolled down the passenger window of her fabulous (not) company car and tossed out her leather briefcase.  Luckily, the pedestrian in the direct line of fire was a dodgeball pro and had über quick reflexes enabling him to avoid getting bashed in the head.  Feeling a tad guilty about the near miss, A. M. made a speedy turn down a deserted side street before tossing her crummy, outdated piece-of-you-know-what lap top out the window.   She breathed a liberating sigh of relief, picked up her cell phone and hit #4 on her speed dial.

A.M.’s Boss:  Hello.
A.M:  Hey Boss, I'm calling to let you know you can pick up my luxury Ford Focus at Starbuc ks near the interstate.
A.M.’s Boss:  Why ever would I want to do that?
A.M.:  Because I quit!

A.M. hit the end button and speed dialed her husband.

A.M.:  Hey hubs, can you pick me up at Starbucks?
A.M.’s Hubs:  Sure...having some car trouble?
A.M.:  Not at all.  I don't have a car to have trouble with because I just quit my job.
A.M.’s Hubs:  WHAT?!
A.M.:  It's time for a new career and I am going to be a very famous novelist.

So began A. M. Hargrove's career as a young adult paranormal romance author of self-published ebooks.  Her series, The Guardians of Vesturon, centers around a family of six siblings and is a mix of humor, mystery, suspense and of course, love.  Survival and Resurrection are her first and second full length novels, and Beginnings is her prequel novella to the series.  Determinant, her third in the series will be released 6/30/12.

(It didn’t really happen like that, but you get the idea!)

MOONLIGHT MAYHEM Summer Blog Tour #MMBlogTour

Moonlight Mayhem is the second book on the epic Spellbound series by Sherry Soule and boy, do i want to get my hands on this baby right here.
Anyway, as part of my stop im hosting the "Super Natural Fun Facts" Guest Post
Hope you enjoy, I know I did!!!!!

Hi everyone, I’m Sherry Soule—waving from California, where it’s getting pretty foggy! Well, it’s the start of summer here, and even with the fog burning off by afternoon, I’m cranking the air conditioner and chatting on Twitter about my love of YA books.

Thanks for letting me stop by today as part of my Moonlight Mayhem Blog Tour this summer. It’s a thrill to get to be a guest and meet all of you lovely followers.

My tour has a great response and it is nice seeing the familiar names in the comments box at each stop. For those of you who haven’t heard of my epic blog tour it’s not too late to join the fun! Hashtag on Twitter: #MMBlogTour

To celebrate the release of author, Sherry Soule’s new paranormal novel, MOONLIGHT MAYHEM, she has put together 4 unknown and fun facts about the YA Spellbound series. In this fun post, you can learn more about the intriguing, supernatural facts that makeup the eerie world of Whispering Pines. Read on to learn some things you didn't know...and really don't need to. :-D

Fun Fact #1

Shadow People, (also known as Shades) are usually vague human shapes, completely black or dark in color, with no discernible facial features. Sometimes they appear as mere silhouettes, generally lacking any characteristics of gender.

However, there are many types of shadow beings; there are hooded shadows, cloaked ones, solid or wispy, and even smoky shapes. They dart into corners, through walls, into closets, or behind bushes, and buildings. Sometimes they simply fade into the dark recesses of the night. Lacking in the description is one common denominator unifying the many different types of Shadow People that enter our world—they are all thought to be “intensely dark.”

The Merriam-Webster dictionary defines paranormal as an adjective meaning “not scientifically explainable.” Spooky, huh? In the Spellbound books, Shadow People are ominous creatures that were once slaves of a band of fallen angels. When they rebelled, the Fallen hexed these creatures to spend eternity in a hell dimension. A few have found a way to slip through the gateway. The real worry is—what happens if they ALL escape?

So, do you believe in Shadow People?

Fun Fact #2

Readers of the Spellbound Series have often wondered if the town of Whispering Pines had a real-life counterpart. Is there a particular town that inspired the haunted area we’ve come to know and fear in the books?

Well, yes, now here’s a place you can actually visit for REAL.

While looking for a foggy and woodland area, I came across Marin County in California. The popular SF Bay Area tourist spot planted the seed for what developed into the fictional version of the town we’ve come to know and love as, Whispering Pines (one CP told me it sounded like a retirement community. LOL). The coastal town is located in the Madrone Woodlands near Larkspur, California neighboring Muir Woods. (You need to use a Bing map to locate the region).

Echoes of the tragic disappearances still plague the town. When the season passes and all the tourists leave, the haunting memory of past events once again shatter the peace of the inhabitants of Whispering Pines...

Have you ever been to the coastal towns of Marin County?

Fun Fact #3

Werewolves and Lycans (shortened form of the word lycanthrope, which means shape-changer) are two completely different species. The terms are definitely NOT synonymous. The werewolf can only transform on a full moon, and they represent more of witchcraft and curse, unlike the lycan who can transform into a wolf at will. The lycan species are also considered shapeshifters, but can ONLY shift into wolves—not into other animals. Lycans are also capable of walking on their hindquarters, and are much more muscular than werewolves. Lycans and werewolves do share these qualities; they both have enhanced physical attributes, enhanced strength, reflexes, coordination, speed, and regenerative abilities. However, these traits seem to apply to lycans, even when in human form.

Furthermore, lycans can retain their human intelligence and personalities while transformed, whereas werewolves become pure animal, devoid of any memory regarding their actions once they shift. Silver is the lycans only weakness, as they seem to be violently allergic to it.

In my new novel, MOONLIGHT MAYHEM (second book in the series), the story hinges on a terrible secret guarded by some of the town’s people as one-by-one teens are attacked by a mysterious were-creature.

Do you think it’s a lycan or a werewolf stalking the kids in Whispering Pines?

Fun Fact #4

A Grimoire, or in some cases it’s called a Book of Shadows (BoS), is used to store magical information, like a textbook of magic spells, rituals, supernatural-related data, and invocations. Some grimoires can even be a sort of magical journal that keeps a record of a witch’s magical experiments and exploits.

Overall, a grimoire is used predominantly by Wiccans; however, this does not mean that those outside of Wicca can’t use a grimoire.  Nor do you have to be in a coven, like the Blood Rose Circle or Generation Hex.

I used the grimoire concept in a different way in my novel, BEAUTIFULLY BROKEN (first book in the series) where the magical book is used more like that of a diary and contains prophecies, which was written by the heroine, Shiloh’s ancestors and passed down through the generations.

Do you have a grimoire or personal journal?

Book Blurb:

Otherworldly Creatures. Dazzling Magic. Fiery Romance.

Shiloh Ravenwolf thought she was getting used to the strange events in Whispering Pines, until the full moon brings another surge of supernatural threats to her coastal town. Ferocious wolves, deadly necromancers, and shambling zombies have descended upon the neighborhood, so Shiloh needs to gain control of her magical abilities—fast!

It sucks that she has a crippling fear of the dark, which for a demon hunter can be an epic problem.

When her classmates are attacked by a mysterious creature and her father is murdered, Shiloh vows vengeance. Forcing her phobias aside, she forms an unlikely coven of supernaturally gifted teens to help her eradicate this menace. Except that's not all Shiloh has to worry about. She’s battling a different monster within herself and struggling not to become the very thing she fights: evil.

But with demon blood inside her—anything can happen…

My Review

I want to thank Amber Leaf Publishing for giving me the opportunity to read this book I really enjoyed it.

Entasy is a short Novella like 120 pages long that gives us the opportunity to meet Kayla, a young woman who´s dreams take her to a world never seen by her; where dark creatures lurke at every corner and where nightmares are so vivid that affect her every living hour.

She´s a very vivacious woman that has a tight family for whom she would do everything, her overprotetive brothers and her security guards drive her crazy, she just doesn´t understand why a gourgeous but other than that normal woman needs such a heavy security team, but as long as her brothers are happy, whatever right?

This novella is so Hot that OMG I cant wait to read the next one; I even had to fan myself a time or two juat thinking about Aerric LOL!!! (TMI??.. sorry)

I´m trapped and I def. will look for the next book as soon as it comes out.

For My Stop on the Entasy Tour I have a Character Profile, this guys here is like the hotest badass outthere, he´s hot, sexy and dangerous; The perfect convo if you ask me LOL!!!!
Anyway behold....

Obsydian aka Syd
He is a 2000 year old demon. He has the beauty and arrogance of a vampire.  He is a complete smartass and loves antagonizing Aerric. He is one of The Nine’s most ruthless fighters and their secret weapon. He wields a sword like a Viking and has the strength of a god. Most believe his existence is only a myth but once they have crossed his path the legend becomes a reality.

When his eyes change color, he has different powers. Blue means he can astral project. Rainbow means he can help release and replenish the hearts energy. He will be the one who helps Kylah release the innocents into the Hall of Souls but because some souls chose to linger, he will help heal Kylah when the soul keepers burden becomes too much for her to bear. He and Kylah have a special bond much to Aerric’s chagrin.

When Obsydian’s eyes turn red-black, it means he can control the energy in the room and also the energy flowing within the body. He can form a shield around himself to protect against powerful magic. But be warned, when his eyes turn black he has no boundaries or limitations. He’s extremely fast and fiercely protective.

Is that Hot or What????? anyway here are another set of Pictures of what he looks like( YUMMY)
