Synopsis

When we moved to West Virginia right before my senior year, I’d pretty much resigned myself to thick accents, dodgy internet access, and a whole lot of boring…. until I spotted my hot neighbor, with his looming height and eerie green eyes. Things were looking up.
And then he opened his mouth.

Daemon is infuriating. Arrogant. Stab-worthy. We do not get along. At all. But when a stranger attacks me and Daemon literally freezes time with a wave of his hand, well, something…unexpected happens.

The hot alien living next door marks me.

You heard me. Alien. Turns out Daemon and his sister have a galaxy of enemies wanting to steal their abilities, and Daemon’s touch has me lit up like the Vegas Strip. The only way I’m getting out of this alive is by sticking close to Daemon until my alien mojo fades.
If I don’t kill him first, that is.

My Review

When I was younger I used to watch a series called Roswell about some Alien teens that where trapped on earth and wanted to go back home, I loved the fact that the writers managed to make me fall in love with every single one of the characters and the main character was the loveliest sweetest thing ever and I fell hard lol!!! On my defense I was 15 hahahahaha; anyway I never thought I would find anything alien related that make me weak in the knees, until Kay from K-Books started talking and talking about how great this book was and I decided to pick it up.
OMG was she right, I loved this book since page one, Jennifer L. Armentrout has a way with words and her character building is magnificent.
Daemon is the sexiest thing out there his hot/cold attitude had me glued to the pages, he´s got the most beautiful all-consuming mind numbing eyes on the planet.

The sexiest half grin kissable lips ever

As Katy puts it he has a

“Beautiful face, Beautiful body, horrible attitude. It was the holy trinity of hot boys.”

Katy´s life changed the moment her parents decided to move, when she meets Daemon it´s hate at first sight but sparks flew between them and her presence changes him forever.
I loved this book so much that I flew over it in one day and when I finally went to sleep I dreamt of it, that’s how trapped I got.

This book is a must on every shelf out there; my toes curl just knowing that I will have another chance to see Daemon in all his passive aggressive, sensual glory. August just can’t get here soon enough.

Obsidian gets the highest rating on my book
