Hell Yeah!!! The Night Series has arrived once again at Book Addict and I´m thrilled cause lets face it, I´m a sucker for everything Lisa Kessler writes!!!!
I´ve read all th books in this series and for sure I will read everything she puts out there in the future!!!
So today for my stop I had the honor and opportunity to interview Lukas, don´t know him yet? well look at the cover below, those are his abs!!!!!
I know right!!!!
Deep within the Yucatan jungle a demon has awakened...
Gretchen Finch's job would be much easier if she weren't alone in the jungle with a brilliant recluse whose every glance sets her on fire. But the more she focuses on her work, the closer she gets to unlocking the mysteries of a terrible creature - the Night Demon - that threatens the world as she knows it. Though her scientific mind tells her it's impossible, she's beginning to believe the ancient Mayan tales as the sinister jungle comes alive around her.
Lukas Smith has spent hundreds of years searching for answers to his immortal Night Walker nature. As a series of ancient glyphs become clear, he's about to find out more than he'd ever hoped, but the more he learns, the more his fate intertwines with the Night Demon, and the harder it becomes to hide his immortal secret from the beautiful, intelligent Gretchen.
Together, they must find a way to stop the inexplicable violence and mass destruction surging across the earth before the Night Demon destroys more than just mankind.

Interviewing
Lukas
Hi Lukas
thank you for agreeing to this interview, I know you have a lot of work right
now, I promise this won’t take long.
1. You are researching Mayan Glyphs in
Yucatan, with a sexy redhead linguist how is that working for you? - *rubs his
lips together and almost smiles* She is a distraction, and a challenge, but I’m
trying to keep her safe.
2. Is it difficult to keep your true
self from her, working so close together? – Yes *nods slowly* But you humans
are quick to make excuses for behavior rather than face the fact that the world
might be larger than you ever realized. Gretchen sees what she wants to see and
ignores the rest. For now, my secret is safe.
3.
What is the quality you
most like in a woman? – Intelligence and passion.
4.
Does Gretchen have
that/those qualities? - Gretchen has an
abundance of both. *corner of his mouth quirks up* She is everything I thought
I would want in a partner. *smile fades* Sadly I can never be the man she
deserves.
5.
This research is becoming
more and more dangerous, what are your thoughts about Gretchen being in danger?
– I am doing all I can to force her back to the United States. If anything
happened to her… *shakes his head and
stares at his hands*
6.
What is your greatest fear?
- *staring at his fingers* That I would be forced to spend the rest of eternity
with Gretchen’s blood on my hands.
7.
If you weren’t a Night
Walker would you pursue a relationship with Gretchen? - *glances up at Karla,
holding her gaze* In a heartbeat.
8.
Do you consider yourself a
friend or a foe of humankind? *shrugs* I’m not sure I am either of those. I am definitely not a friend, but I also am
not against the mortals either. I think I’m in the gray area in between.
9.
What´s your relationship
with your maker and why? – I used to hate him for stealing the sun and giving
me this inhuman thirst. I know he was trying to save my life and my conversion
was accidental, but it is a mistake that can never be rectified. *crossed his
arms* Over the years I’ve come to grips with my situation. I don’t blame him,
but I also haven’t seen him in over two hundred years.
10.
Was Smith the best last
name you could came up with after 300 years of living?... really? - *laughs*
Since Night Demon came out, a few people have asked me this question. The truth
is I chose Smith because it’s a name that doesn’t stand out like Stanislov and
I could keep my initials the same LS. Call me a creature of habit…
Thank you for this interview Lukas it was truly a pleasure to meet you,
I hope you and Gretchen find whatever it is you are looking for.
*shakes Karla’s hand* Thank you for the good wishes. Our author, Lisa
Kessler, has promised me we will…
