This book is a perfect sequel to Wicked, it picks up exactly where wicked left of. We get to see the road to acceptance that Ivy has to travel. Now that she knows the truth, her dynamics change.

No one can find out Ivy´s secret, her life depends on it but having to lie to the one person she cares about isn´t exactly easy and at the same time she is being hunted by a fae prince who wants nothing more than to get some one on one time with her.

This book destroys you and builds you up, it´s beautifully written, the plot is amazing; be prepared to experience every range of emotion there is out there. From ugly crying to fuzzy warm feelings we go through it all.

The beginning of the book is kinda slow but seen as it´s a continuation of the scene where we left off on book one it makes perfect sense.

Tink is and will always be my favorite character ever, I live for his antics and the things we learn about him on this book... there are no words. He is full of secrets and full of flair, if you liked him before you are going to love him now.

Ren and Ivy are magnificent, they are both brave and fearless but at the same time they are both loving and tender. I loved all their interaction. The Prince is just a creep with powers and I truly hope he gets what’s coming to him.

I got to be honest at the end of the book I had a foretelling moment and I hope I’m wrong because if something happens to Ivy I’ll riot, for sure.

Have you ever stayed up all night because you couldn't put a book down? Which book was it? This happened to me with this book.

I just have one word for this book... WOW.

Wicked is amazing it has the perfect amount of action, romance, angst. I absolutely love it.

The main characters are perfect. Ivy has personality, she's a badass but just like anyone she has fears and regrets in her life that color the way she see things.

Ren is hawt, there's no humble bone in his body and he can fight like there's no tomorrow.

The world building is freaking fantastic. I could practically see myself strolling through New Orleans. The backstory and the build up is great too.

I absolutely loved this book. I'm starting the next one ASAP.

From Blood and Ash is easily the best read I´ve had on 2020 so far. 

 It isn´t every day that I can say I managed to read a book spoiler free but I did and thank God for that. This book was worth the wait and then some.  You guys know how much I love JLA. She is on my insta buy list for sure. So when I picked this book I already had expectation, big ones and this book didn´t disappoint. It was perfection. 

The world building was on point, the complex story behind all off it was perfectly crafted. The characters where believable, complex and unique. 

 I love strong female characters and Poppy doesn’t disappoint even thou she´s been sequestered almost all of her life, she has spirit, sass and a violent streak like I haven´t seen before. She´s also pure hearted a great friend, a victim and a hero. All in a pretty demure but explosive package.

Hawke… I have no words. As soon as he appeared I was done for, hook line and sinker. He´s incredibly handsome, a fighter, charming his comebacks are epic. He also doesn´t know the meaning of the word humble. He is epic.

This book shocked me like no other, the truths you learn about along the book pissed me off so bad I wanted to throw my reader across the room.

I won’t spoil you but I’ll tell you this. Not everything is as it seems, there are signs everywhere if you look for them, the hawt scenes are soooo worth it and so are the fight scenes. The ending is killing me and I need the next book now.
