Excerpt
“Switch clothes.”
Kiana blinked at Finn. It was such a simple order but she couldn’t make her arms move to obey him.
“Now!”
Slowly, Kiana turned to look at her handmaid. Erynn’s eyes were red and puffy, her face smudged with dirt from the tunnel and her blonde hair dishevelled. The girl’s shoulders shook as she pulled the plain brown surcoat over her head and held it out to Kiana. Like Kiana, she also wore an undyed woollen underdress that preserved modesty. Kiana stared at the surcoat and then at Erynn. Her lower lip trembled and a lump formed in her throat that threatened to choke her.
“Now, Kiana!” Finn kept glancing towards Ciall, who was standing at the tunnel entrance.
Sunlight filtered in, providing enough light to see by deeper in the tunnel. Kiana could hear the sounds of fighting in the distance. Swords clanged against each other, feet thundered over wood and men screamed. She clamped her hands over her ears and sank down so that she was crouching.
Finn was shouting at her. Kiana shook her head and squeezed her eyes tightly shut. She wouldn’t listen. How could he ask her to send Erynn out to die?
A pair of hands closed over hers and pulled them away from her ears.
“Kiana.”
Kiana couldn’t immediately put a name to the gentle voice. Slowly, she opened her eyes. Nidan was crouching in front of her, eyes alert, body tense, but there was a kindness in his face.
“We don’t have time to think,” he said. “You need to do as Finn says.”
“But…”
“Don’t think.” He was right. “You have to live.”
Right again. She stood and pulled her surcoat off with numb fingers. Erynn helped her into the rough wool garment. It irritated the nape of her neck. It doesn’t matter! She watched as Erynn pulled on the golden surcoat. Kiana had always wondered why she and Erynn looked so alike. Now it was clear: Erynn was the perfect decoy. Kiana shivered violently. Her stomach lurched. She turned away and threw up. Once she had recovered, Nidan offered her a scrap of cloth. She cleaned her mouth and then managed to force a grateful smile to her lips.
“We split into two groups,” Finn said. “Bran and Coran will take Erynn.” He looked at Nidan. “You’re with me and Ciall.”
Kiana had enough wits to see Nidan’s eyebrows raise as his mouth dropped open. Under different circumstances, his expression might have been comical.
“Let’s go!”
She forced herself to follow Finn out of the tunnel, expecting to see Wolves at any moment.
Finn must have sensed Kiana’s nervousness. He paused and glanced at her. “From what we could see, the Wolves are concentrated around the moat. It’s unlikely they’ll find this entrance.”
Kiana nodded. They had run through the tunnel for what felt like an eternity, and the fighting sounded so distant. Despite Finn’s assurances, Kiana stared after the other group as they vanished into the forest. They had to stay safe. They had to.

Now,lets welcome Clare Davidson, who is going to share something really cool with us.

The Night Before the Assault
I thought I'd share a short scene that takes place before the opening chapter of Trinity:
The camp was quiet. The Wolves hadn't lit any fires–it was too much of a risk. Skaric lay on a rough blanket, staring up at the night sky. A blanket of stars spread above the camp, the only witnesses to the Wolves' presence at the edge of the forest. Inside was Blackoak Tower, allegedly the home of the incarnation of Miale.
"Can't sleep?"
Skaric didn't need to see Vali to recognise his friend. He tucked his hands beneath his head. "I'd rather be on watch."
Vali chuckled. His bedroll plopped to the floor beside Skaric and he absently kicked it out. "We're far too important to waste our energy on watch, Skaric," he said in a mocking tone.
Skaric rolled his eyes.
"Do you think we really will find the Miale bitch in that tower?"
Skaric shrugged. "That's what we've been told."
Vali stretched out on his side, propping himself up on his elbow so he could face Skaric. "People lie… even under torture."
Neither of them had been present. They hadn't seen the man's face or heard his words. Only Berend had.
"The war leader doesn't do anything that has the potential to make him look bad." Skaric kept his voice low. "Berend must be sure she's there." The name tangled on his tongue and left a bad taste in his mouth. It was no secret that they didn't get along.
"It could be a decoy."
A smile spread across Skaric's lips. "We'll know."
Vali flopped onto his back. "Oh yes. Her telltale amber eyes. What if that's just a myth?"
"You're very pessimistic tonight," Skaric chuckled. "It's a fact that's been handed down from Alpha to Alpha for a thousand years. It's true." He felt the strength of his conviction in his words. "A god cannot inhabit a mortal body without leaving a physical mark."
He closed his eyes, allowing the subdued sounds of the camp to wash over him. Hushed voices chatted in scattered clusters. Horses snorted and swished their tails. Leather creaked under the pressure of heavy-handed polishing. The stench of unwashed men and horse dung made the air in the camp uncomfortable to breathe. Tension filled the air, carried by anxious whispers and unseen stares.
"At least Berend is the one who'll face your father's wrath if this is a waste of time," Vali said.
Tension coiled in the pit of Skaric's stomach. He opened his eyes. The sky seemed even blacker, the stars more accusing.
"If we fail…"
"We won't fail," Skaric snapped. They couldn't. He rolled over, turning his back on Vali. "Get some sleep."
He held his breath for several heartbeats until Vali's grumbling and shuffling subsided. He tugged his blanket around his shoulders, but still shivered. He would be glad when the assault was over, no matter what the outcome.

Can you say scorching Hawt??
Tempting the player (Gamble #2) is fantastic. A book that will leave you aching for more while fulffiling all your wicked fantasies!!!
Here is a little background on why I´m completely crazy about this release
.

When I read Tempting the Best Man (Gamble #1) I loved the story and fell in love with the characters, Chase and Maddie where amazing and sweet and sexy as hell and I loved them but I also went crazy over Chad and Chandler. Even though I didn´t know them I was intrigued and I wanted to know so much more.

Obviously, the first thing I did once I finished that book, was to contact the author and almost begged for a second book and I wasn´t the only one, lots and lots of fans wanted that too. So once the author announced that Entangled´s Brazen imprint was going to release Tempting the Player I was ecstatic. It was like an early Christmas present.

I crossed fingers and prayed to get an ARC of this book, yeah I´m crazy like that =D, one day I opened up my email and there it was SUBJECT: Tempting the Player ARC the best morning I´ve had in long time. I squealed, jumped and called a couple of friends(happiness needs to be shared) anyway once I settle down enough, opened up my ARC and the first thing I though was...

What if I don’t like it? I´ve been dying to get this title and waiting for it so much that, I was scared. But then I read the first chapter and I was a goner.

Chad is my kind of guy, bad boy, with a sinful body, totally sexy and he knows it and owns it. He´s also the super star pitcher for Nationals; he just have one problem, he doesn´t know how to play by the rules, ohh and he’s a self-centered arss… did I say one problem??? .. I meant two LOL!!!

Bridget is one of a kind; she has a weird fashion sense, the most heart stopping green eyes that completely match her beautiful red hair, she´s completely loyal, witty and trust worthy, but she has one problem she doesn’t see herself as the beautiful curvier woman she is.

One Night chance or fate decided to play games with this two and OMG!!!! This couple is perfect; they both have the perfect amount of snark and wit, they call it as they see it, and to make things more interesting they have a smashing chemistry.

As the plot thickens, Chad and Bridget get caught up on a charade that could end up costing a lot more than their works it could cost them their hearts.

This book is flawless, J. Lynn is the Queen of Sexual tension, and the buildup on this one was so magnificent that when the time came I was drooling my way through it. I love Alpha males and she has the male persona nailed (yes Nic I stole your phrase LOL), I have yet to read one of her books where I don’t fall head over heels for the male character.

Chad and Bridget are such a sweet couple but they have this strenght when they are together... well and Chad ohhh Chad. Where can I place an order for one like him? *drools a bit*

Cant wait to read Chandler´s story and for what I saw here, his book is going to be pretty interesting. God have Mercy on him LOL!!!!

I adored that we get to see a bit more about Chase and Maddie and how the brothers interact.

So, if you guys are looking for a sizzling hot romance that promise to keep you up at the wee hours of the night;with amazing characters and a beautifulled weebed story, search no more Tempting the Player is what you are looking for.

Here is the Book Blurb

To survive, they must embrace what they most despise . . . in themselves and each other.

Mitch Turner is everything women want most in a man—charismatic, successful, drop-dead gorgeous. Except he’s not a man—he’s a monster.

The only way Mitch can protect others from his monstrous side is to stop them from getting too close…that and a 7x7 foot cage. Isolated by his genetic curse, he spends his life hurting people emotionally, driving them away before Hyde can harm them physically. But, after a night of the best sex Mitch has ever had, he realizes that might be impossible. Except the woman he wakes up with claims she doesn’t remember any of it.

Eden Colfax is everything men want most, men other than Mitch, that is. She’s kind, honest to a fault and sickeningly sweet. To rid herself of the monsters that haunted her broken childhood, Eden doesn’t lie, doesn’t curse, and definitely never wakes up naked in strangers’ beds…until the day she does.

Then the flashbacks start—places she’s never been, people she’s never met, blood she’s never spilled. She discovers she’s split into two parts—the woman she thought she knew and another who is capable of anything. And the only person with any answers is the one man she never wants to see again.

What neither of them know is that someone is watching them both, manipulating them, determined to see just how evil the two of them really are. And when the truth begins to seep through the cracks, leaving them nowhere to turn but each other, they will be forced into a partnership neither had expected.

Because in life, who you trust is as important as who you are. And when you can’t even trust yourself, sometimes the only person you can rely on is the last person on Earth you should be falling for.

*** This novel is intended for adults only, as it includes lots of cursing, descriptive sex, biting sarcasm, and themes similar to those in Stevenson’s Strange Case of Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde, from which this story was inspired.

I have an extra something for you guys here is the prologue of this baby, you are in for a treat.

Prologue
Fifteen years ago . . .
He woke up to the screaming. His mom’s. Different this time. More fearful. More frantic. He ran to the door and threw it open. His sister barred his way, somehow knowing what he planned to do.
“Move, Shelly!”
“No, Mitch,” she said, her eyes wide. “Don’t. Don’t go in there. It’ll kill you.”
It. The beast. The creature that had been part of his life for as far back as Mitch could remember. Even longer for Shelly and his mom. They never talked about it. As if pretending it didn’t exist made life easier. Life wasn’t easy. Life was terrifying.
Something had to change.
His mom’s screams were louder. And then they stopped. Mid-cry, they just stopped. He pushed Shelly out of the way and ran down the dark hallway toward the living room.
“Mitch, no!”
Too late. It was all too late.
His mother lay on the tile floor. The only part of her still moving was the blood pooling beneath her body.
The beast stood above her, huge, smiling. Blood splattered across its neck and chest. It raised its head slowly. There was a flash of recognition in its eyes, then it blinked, shook itself like a wet dog, and launched toward Mitch.
Mitch dove to the side. The beast barreled by him, into the hallway. Toward Shelly.
“Help!”
Her cry slammed into his mind, his heart. “Shelly!” He grabbed his baseball bat from the entryway and ran.
The beast had her pinned in a corner. “Are you afraid, bitch?” it growled. “You should be.”
Mitch swung the bat. Three years of little league and the last two of high school ball packed into one hit. Then another. But the hall was too narrow.
The beast shoved Shelly against the wall and then flipped around, laughing darkly. “That all you got, boy?”
Mitch swung again and again, sometimes making contact with an arm, a shoulder, stepping back as the beast advanced, toying with him. The bat’s length the only thing keeping the bastard from reaching him. Back into the living room, it pawed, trying to grab Mitch’s inadequate defense. If it caught hold, if it backed Mitch into a wall, everything would end—Mitch, Shelly, everything.
A blow to its head stopped its laughter, a quiver rippling through its body. “Come here, you little prick!” it roared.
Mitch aimed high for another hit to its face, one step closer to use the full force of the weapon. The bat rebounded in his hands as it struck flesh, sending a shooting pain through Mitch’s arms and shoulders.
Again, he swung. Again, he struck.
The beast stumbled, put its hands to its ears, still cursing. Another strike landed. Then another. The beast sank to its knees, its growls turning into grunts of pain.
Mitch lifted the bat above his head. His legs were numb, his upper body vibrating as he pounded all of his anger, all of his fear, into the monster lying at his feet.
“Mitch,” his sister begged. “Please stop. Please.”
He didn’t. He couldn’t.
“Stop! It’s dead. Stop,” she said, weeping.
He felt Shelly’s arms around his waist, holding him, pulling him back from the edge. Finally overcome, the bat fell from his hands, and he let her guide him a few steps backwards. His foot caught on the rug and he sat down hard, Shelly sliding down beside him.
She crawled on her knees until she was between him and the bloody bodies on the floor and hugged him tightly.
Over her shoulder, Mitch stared at the creature. Watched it change, shrink, diminish. Until all that was left was the lifeless body of his father.
Their father. Dear, old Dad. A man they had both hated. A man who had been filled with evil when he was human. Doubly-so each time he transformed into Hyde.
Shelly held Mitch’s shaking body in her arms, stroking his hair, making shushing sounds, telling him it would be okay.
Would it? Would it ever be okay? He slumped into her. “Oh, God, Shelly, what did I do?”
“You had to do it, Mitch. You saved me . . . saved us. We can be happy now.”
Happy?
“He was a monster.” Her words stung.
“Don’t say that,” he whimpered.
“But he was. He was evil. He had to die.”
Please, Shelly, don’t say that,” he said through his sobs, his eyes still locked on his father. “Because . . . that’s what I’m going to be.”
She stiffened, and then hugged him tighter, slowly rocking him back and forth. “No, we won’t let it. We’ll figure something out.”
It was too late. His transformations had already started. Not as violently as his father’s—not yet—but they’d begun. When his tears blurred the image of his parent’s bodies, he rested his head on Shelly’s shoulder and cried.
“You’ll never be a monster, Mitch.”
“I already am.”

My Review

First off I need to say that Strange Case of Dr Jekyll and Mr Hyde by Robert Luis Stevenson,is one of my favorite books ever and because of that, I´ve read tons of books based on it, I´ve seen the movies and watched the plays.

All of you should know at least the basics of this amazing timeless novel. Dr.Henry Jekyll creates a potion that ends up tuning him into Edward Hyde a cruel, remorseless, evil and moraly sinister character and at the end he dies... ohh bullocks don´t go screaming spoiler on me, this novel was written somewhere around 1880 so if you haven´t read it yet, your english teachers sucked LOL!!!!

That being said...

Who could have thought that an incredible dark novel with a character in dire need of pshycological support would be the Inspiration for such a beautiful, intriguing, HAWT and mind blowing book such as Hyde.

Mitch and Eden are to sides of the same coin. where he is a hard to digest and an easy to hate prick who doesn´t know the difference between his arss and his brain; Eden is as sweet, loving and pure as an Angel. Strange thing is someway, somehow they make a perfect match for each other.

I love this book, I was glued to it due to the amazing love/hate story Lauren Stewart created, the plot flows very easy and my damm brain was screaming conspiracy, time and time again LOL!!!!.

I can´t wait to read the next instalment, cause it will have one, I bet It will, or I´ll got search for the author and turn Hyde on her and I´m talking about the 1880 Stevenson´s version LOL!!!!

Mitch and Eden have such an amazing chemistry that I couldn´t help but love them as a couple. I even Liked their Hydes.

Now all I have to say is please, please, please I need the next book please please. Mrs. Stewart I´ve been a good girl all the year and Xmas is coming

Pretty pls!!!!

OMFanfreakingtasticGod!!!!!!!
I can´t believe that just happened...

Toxic is by far the best book on the Denazen series. I can´t wait to see where Jus Accardo is going to take us next cause in this one I swear I stayed one step away to get commited.

Loved, loved LOVED!!!! this book, Dez is her usual self and Kale grows exponentialy, the ups and downs on this one had me glued to the book. I literary couldn´t put it down; I ate with the book and I went to work with it too.

OK so, as you guys can see from the blurb, Dez can´t touch Kale anymore but Jade can... I hate that chick so freaking much, I wanted to kick her ass into tomorrow just for looking at Kale. She makes a show out of touching Kale, she enjoys seeing Dez suffer and Kale is such a sweet guy that he doesn´t realize that chick should be hanged by the tongsils... yeah I despise her... so what???

This book kept me in my toes, and I enjoyed every damm second of it. There´s a lot of emotional conflict in this one. Dez and Kale need to learn how to interact now that they can´t touch and Barbie Bimbo Jade enjoys herself a little to much with Kale.

I also have a conspiracy theory, that I can´t share without giving away way to much, but I´ll say this, it has to do with one of the evil twins from hell. I sooooo hope I´m right!!!!!

Another thing I need to get out of my chest is Ginger I so freaking hate you and I hope someone will kick your butt I hate you, hate you, hate you, hate you!!!!!! you are even worse than Jade.

How Could you???

Juz Accardo is a genious hidding clues about every mayor storyline or plor enigma through the book, I spent more tha half of it chasing ghosts, I was so sure who the traitor was, that I could have bet on it and I would have lost big.

When the traitor was finally revealed I was in shock

This book is so good that I´m devastated, I´ve cried my eyes out since I finished with it, that ending was the best worst thing ever. I can´t believe that happened and I need more!!!!!!

Toxic is a one of a kind rollercoaster ride into perfection that leaves you begging for some more!!!!

Bravo Jus Accardo, Brava!!!!!!!

Mixed martial arts fighter Reid Andrews’s chance to reclaim his title as light heavyweight champ is shattered when he’s injured only months before the rematch. To make sure he’s healed in time, his trainer sends him to recuperate under a professional’s care—Reid’s best friend’s little sister, all grown up.
Disorganized and bookish Lucie Miller needs some professional help of her own. She’d do anything to catch the eye of a doctor she’s crushed on for years, so when Reid offers seduction lessons in exchange for 24/7 conditioning for the biggest fight of his career, Lucie jumps at the chance. Soon Reid finds him himself in the fight of his life...winning Lucie's heart before she gives it to someone else.

Hubba hubba hubba!!!! Im in love!!!! yes I am.

OMFG who would have thoutgh that an MMA fighter could be so hawt, delicious, sexy, drop dead gorgeous... *breaths in breaths out*  He really is HAWT. *fans herself*

When Reid goes to see a new PT he never expected her  to be his best friends little sister and when he sees that she is in need of his help too well thats a win, win situation right???? ... Wrong!!!!!!!!

Inn exchange to be his PT 24/7 Lucie wants one thing, for Reid to teach her how to seduce a man who doesn´t even know she exists.

Lucie is a sweetheart, she´s just your average girl, she thinks herself plain and incapable to awaken any kind of hunger in a man, she doesn´t realize how amazing she is. but Reid does and that´s where this book gets pretty wicked amazing.

Reid is the kind of guy that know what he´s got and sure as hell knows how to use it, this guy is sex on legs and he is willing to bring the heavy artillery to show Lucie that he is a far more better match for her than some lame arss Dr. could ever be.

This two where meant to be together, I adored this couple from the start, they are simply perfect for each other, she is the yin to his yang, sort of lol!!!!

What I liked the most was the fact that even though Reid has this whole bad guy attitude and looks going on, he truly is one of a kind, he is completly trust worthy, dependable, romantic and super, super sweet.

If you dont believe me check this out

"My heart's just not in it anymore." His eyes searched hers as though hoping to see that she understood, but he wasn't sure she did.
"Then where is it?"
"With you, Lucie. My heart is with you."

Can you say Mayor Swoon!!!!

Prim and proper art gallery coordinator Elle Walser is no good at seducing men. Heck, she’s been throwing hints at her boss for months, but he’s completely clueless. Desperate to escape her mother’s matchmaking efforts, she comes up with a plan—buy some lingerie and climb into her boss’s bed. The plan goes brilliantly…until she accidentally seduces a sexy stranger instead. Bad boy nightclub mogul Gabe Schultz just had the best almost-sex of his life. Too bad the smoking hot blonde thought he was his brother and bolted before he could finish what they started. Though her holier-than-thou attitude puts a serious damper on his mood, Gabe’s never been one to give up on something he wants. And he wants Elle. But does a man who lives on the dark side really have a chance with a proper lady?

About the Author

Katee Robert learned to tell stories at her grandpa's knee. Her favorites then were the rather epic adventures of The Three Bears, but at age twelve she discovered romance novels and never looked back.

Though she dabbled in writing, life got in the way--as it often does--and she spent a few years traveling, living in both Philadelphia and Germany. In between traveling and raising her two wee ones, she had the crazy idea that she'd like to write a book and try to get published.

Her first novel was an epic fantasy that, God willing, will never see the light of day. From there, she dabbled in YA and horror, before finally finding speculative romance. Because, really, who wouldn't want to write entire books about the smoking-hot relationships between two people?

She now spends her time--when not lost in Far Reach worlds--playing imaginary games with her wee ones, writing, ogling men, and planning for the inevitable zombie apocalypse.

My Review

Elle is the epitome of Murphy´s law, everything that can go wrong will go wrong. Good thing for her that Gabe was there to make everything, ohh so right!!!!!

She´s really cute and endearing but so infuriating at the same time, she works as a coordinator at Nathan´s Art Gallery and is waiting for the right time to seduce her boss cause he is everything her mother has told her she needs to have a healthy relationship, or so she thinks LOL!!!

Gabe is The bad boy, he has lived the life and done the deed more times than he care about, but he wants to settle down and have a normal content life. Then he meets Elle...

Love the dynamics of this couple and te whole I hate you but I want you was ZOMG!!!!! Brilliantly done.

I have to say that I´m a sucker for Bad boys, attitud is everything and this guy knows how to pull it off, he´s funy, sexy and an honest to god almost boy scout that just happens to look Yummy as hell.

I really liked this book, It´s a very easy fast paced read that left me wishing for more.

This is exactly the reason why I´m always looking for Entangled´s books, amazing titles such as this one, all in one place!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
