My Review

AS you may notice I reviewed book one of this series yesterday and it was so good that I had to start book 2 ASAP I wanted to get to know more about the characters and the amazing story Kate Douglas created.
There´s nothing not to love about this book, is action packed, the love story is very well developed and the plot is in one word AMAZING.
Kate Douglas managed to sweep me up my feet once again, I Gotta say I don’t like blonds that much, I’m all for the Dark and dangerous type; you know like this.
Instead I got a Sexy Alton.
YUMM, YUMM right!!!!
I loved the story and the fact that even though this book centers on another couple we still have Dax and Eddy around and they are every bit as important to the plot as before.
Ginny is such a great character, she has dreams, fears, hopes and the way she evolves into the powerful woman she didn’t know she was, is incredible.
And well what can I say when you put together a perfect male specimen with a sexy bomb like Ginny, well… Yes you got it right, it all becomes spicy and hot. I ended up wishing for a cold shower that never came cause I couldn´t put the book down long enough.
I can’t wait to start book 3 the plot has me intrigued so much that book 3 is on my hands as I write this.
Another great book from Kate Douglas.

My Review
Warning Adult Content

Ok so I need to tell you guys a little story I got this book along with the next two books on this series from a very Dear Friend of Mine here at GR. She´s always pushing books on us her GRBGFF and so far she´s been 100% right on cue.

I loved loved loved this book, and Im starting book two of this amazing series as soon as I finish the review.

I´ve found yet another BBF (Book Boy Friend) OMG Dax is just what the Dr. ordered for me, he´s Tall dark, sexy, with beautiful eyes and a melting smile but above it all he has a heart of gold.

Eddy rocks, she´s cute and sassy and a woman comfortable with her sexuality, and has a solid character that pulls her and hers to face whatever may come.

Want to know what got me so riled up about this book?; you could cut the sexual tension with a butter knife, I swear I was like 20 pages maybe 30 on the book and I was begging for them to get it on, what a builder that was, I was expecting so much from this couple and WOW, sparks flew and fireworks lit my kindle like the 4th of july when the time came.

love, love love this book, Alton is a Sexy god, that is waiting for me on the next installment and im dying to get my hands on it ASAP. Willow and Bumper are the cutest sidequicks I ever seen on a book. I hope something better comes for Willow though, cause she deserves so much better than what she got.

It's lent and time to give up your favourite things for 40 days and 40 nights (or sneak some when no one is looking!) What series of books would you have to give up, and why?

OMG, for starters i don´t think i would under any circumstances be able to pull this off, but i guess i would TRY and stay away from anything paranormal for 40 days and nights.

OHH GOD!!!! nooo Vampires, no weres, no sexy hunters or shifters, just the thought of it is more than i can stand.
but as long as i can keep my Thor and wolvering poster beside my bed, i think i can manage.

One sweet stolen kiss would bring them together while a force, more powerful than any vampire would bind them for all eternity. But treachery, war, and death rule Dorian´s dark world and Victoria would be fortunate to survive.

My Review

Dorian Vlakhos a Vampire King hidden among humans.
Victoria Kingston a penniless orphan trying to take care of her younger sister.
I have to say I’m not a huge fan of Historical Romance, but I was very intrigued by this book since I read the blurb and I loved it since page one. Victoria´s problems trapped me and it was really easy for me to connect with her.
Dorian´s dark and sexy nature are alluring indeed and the way they connect was amazing, I could practically feel the sparks flying.
I love Vampire books, that´s not news to anyone that knows me, but I’ve read so many that is hard to find one that can fulfill my expectations; this book did and I loved every second of it.
The story is intense, the plot amazing, I loved the side characters everyone had a unique quality to them that made them stand out at some point on the story.
The sex scenes are very well accomplished; yeah there is sex in this book but it comes naturally with the story.
This is a great read if you like hot and steamy historical/paranormal books this is the book for you.

Moving Neutral by Katy Atlas BOOK REVIEW

Sold by: Amazon Digital Services

Language: English

Source: The author in exchange of an honest review

Genre: Young Adult

ASIN: B00685NKSK

About the Author:

Katy Atlas graduated from Princeton University, where she majored in English and took courses in contemporary fiction, creative writing and playwriting. At Princeton, she wrote for the Daily Princetonian and published short fiction pieces in the Nassau Weekly.
A recent transplant from Manhattan, Katy now lives in Houston, Texas with her husband and two dogs.

Synopsis

Casey Snow is grounded for life... or at least until she leaves for college.

After driving her car into the side of her parents' garage, Casey is stuck filing papers in her mom's office during the day, and confined to her house on the weekends. Worst of all, she's not allowed to see her favorite band, Moving Neutral--whose lead guitarist, Blake Parker, just might be the love of Casey's life.

But with her best friend's help, Casey comes up with a plan to sneak out of her house for the concert. And as she's standing in line at a coffee shop near the show, everything changes. Because behind her is Blake Parker, ready to sweep her away for the best summer of her life.

My Review

Cassie Snow is your average girl, she is getting ready to go to Columbia and making plans with her BFF Madison to go to Moving Neutral´s Concert, but a chain of events might change the course of her summer and maybe her life.
Blake Parker doesn’t have a common bone in his body he´s young, sexy, romantic and is the lead guitarist of Moving Neutral, but some coffee and an autograph changed his ordinary Band tour summer into an extraordinary experience that will make his summer something to remember.
I really liked this book, it´s an easy and quick read, so much that I flew through the book in about 8 hours.
I liked the concept of the book, the hole met my favorite star and fall in love is a fantasy that we all had at some point on our lives kinda like prince charming and the Knight in shinny armor.
What I didn´t like.
There was no back story for the side characters, so we don’t get to know very much about them even though they are a constant through the book.
We keep hearing from Cassie how amazing Blake is but we never actually see it.
Her parent’s reaction when she got back after weeks away and her new “famous” status was too easy.
That being said, It´s really sweet and kept me expecting when was everything going to blow on Cassie´s face; it’s a very fun read I really liked the way they met again at the end of the book.

My Review

This Book was a very hard read for me, Sci fi is one of my favorite genres and even thought I didn’t feel in love with it, this book is a very good representation of the genre.

The first few pages need serious editing, but once you past that, the plot is very original.

The problem I had with this book, was the amount of information that was being delivered, the technological aspects of the book overpowered the story itself. It was as if the main character was there just so we could see how technologically advanced the future is.

The premise of the book is very fresh; you can feel the devotion of the author and the amount of time he invested in it.

We get to see a future earth where flying cars and bots are the everyday thing; also the places are described in a very vivid but new futuristic way.

Bobbie is a well-developed character that has a very abnormal life due to the circumstances of her birth, what I didn’t like about her was the fact that she wastes a lot of time thinking and not a lot of it doing, she was a breeze of fresh air at some points on the story but still at times she was boring.

All in all it was an ok book for me, not because it’s a bad book it just wasn´t the ideal book for me, I rate it 3 stars cause it´s without a doubt the most creative book I’ve read on this subject but at the end I was left with a lot of unanswered questions.

Still if you love Sci fi and Futuristic novels this might be the one for you, check it out and let me know what you thought of it.

The second installment is here, Taken´s dark and alluring plot continues the story of Channie.
If you read Enchantment and you loved it, this is even better. Taken takes you on a wild ride through Magic land and we get to experience how Channie and Josh relationship develops.
The twists and turns of this story had me glued to my seat; it´s action packed and at the same time is very romantic.
I loved the Fact that we get to know Hunter so much better he is the funniest and sweetest thing out there and the way he and Josh bond is spectacular if not more.
