This book was amazing way better than the first one. Tella is an amazing character, even though on the first installment she came across as childish and reckless, she´s super complex. Her actions are always fuelled by love. Yes she does reckless things but there’s a motivation and a goal she wants to achieve. I love her way more than I did her sister.

Dante is the dark night you didn’t know you needed until falls he upon you with those intense eyes, and cockiness. He´s hot and he knows it and flaunts it like there’s no tomorrow. He´s Dark and sexy but he’s also a mystery, one I wanted to unravel which is the reason I couldn’t out this book down.

This couple is so spicy that I often forgot how young they truly are.

The game this time around its quite different form last time, the stakes are higher than ever, the lines between truth and game aren´t standing anymore and it becomes quite entertaining to theorize on the outcome of the pieces on the board.

This book is full of surprises, some I saw coming a mile away others took me completely off guard. I really enjoyed the pace and the character development and being able to see a little about the last players and how they are doing after the last game. Yes, there’s some Scarlett and Julian on this one.

I need to admit I was blindsided by several things that happened in this book. That ending left me scratching my head wondering what the hell just happened?

That being said I loved this book.

Scarlet was a very likable character, her love for her sister and her desperation to keep her safe pushed her to leave her comfort zone and discover more about herself.

Julian is a great character there where times I was so sure of who he was and what he wanted and I was wrong very very wrong.

Caraval in itself is another character, I loved how every little thing played a part of the story there was no unimportant detail from the stores to the colors of the carpets everything brings an unique twist to the events that unfold. Simply amazing.

Legend it's a complete unknown but remains the most important and interesting character of the book. I want to know what drives him, his motivation. I'm really intrigued.

I loved everything. It's different, interesting and unique. Its definitely worth the read.

Marriage for One by Ella Maise Review

I really wanted to like this book but I couldn't get into it no matter what.

The pace of the book was good it's a very slow burn romance and the writing is pretty good. But the characters not so much.

There's absolutely zero background for the male lead. other than I don't get along with my family we know next to nothing about him. He's got no personality, doesn't talk. I couldn't connect cause there was nothing to connect to.

The MC is super annoying she's a chatterbox of randomness and passes a good chunk of the book practically begging for sex from a man she's never slept with in the first place.

If you are looking for something to rock your socks out of your feet I wouldn't recommend this book, but if what you are looking for is an easy quick read you might like it.

First of all I need to be honest I wasn't too into the idea of reading this series, I hated 50 shades of grey but a friend swore by it and a few days of intensely hot read, here I am.

I tried to read one book at a time but it was impossible for me to put them down long enough to write a review so, this is my opinion based on the whole series.

Holly cow they are good, Gideon is a broken man, he holds all the pieces of himself tight together but can't glue himself back up. But when he meets Eva some part of him awakens and little by little he starts to be whole again.

Eva is a great character, she has so many facets, she's strong, tender, intelligent but hides within herself all the fears her past created.

Together they are explosive apart they are nothing.

The side characters are perfect too each one has a contribution to the story in some way, whether it's portraying the struggle of one of the characters or giving them a moment of peace. Every single one of them is so interesting I would love to have spin offs so we could explore them more.

This series is amazing, beautifully written with round characters, amazing world building and just so happens to have lots and I mean lots of sex in it. I doesn't get boring it has a great pace, the conflicts are interesting because they have everything to do with the nature of Gideon and Eva's relationship and all the secrets they keep.

This book is brutal but so worth the read.

This was a very hard book to read. Is heartwrenching. What's worse is that it isn't just a book, this is what millions of children across the world endure and sometimes reality is worse.

I know this is not exactly a review, but this book really affected me.

Mallory and Rider broke my heart in more ways than one. They where left to fend for themselves when they were defenseless. Their childhood was tragic, brutal and full of monsters.

Years passed and now we see Mallory's new life but also the trauma all those terrible experiences left her with. Her struggle to be better, to feel better. To love and accept herself. Her battle to recognize that whatever happened wasn't her fault. That the fault always resides on the monsters not on the victim.

This book rings true because it is true is a terrible reality that sometimes we choose not to acknowledge.

Rider seems strong and well adjusted but in reality he's as affected if not more than Mallory. He just never learned to love himself and that broke my heart.

I truly believe that regardless of what we went through our past can't define us if we won't let it and I wish this wasn't the reality we live in.

This book did more than entertain me, it got me thinking on ways we could make the world better for all those kids that like Mallory and Raider are trapped and can't see a way out.
