About the Author

David Estes was born in El Paso, Texas but moved to Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania when he was very young. He grew up in Pittsburgh and then went to Penn State for college. Eventually moved to Sydney, Australia where he met his wife. A reader all his life, he began writing novels for the children's and YA markets in 2010. He´s a writer with OCD, a love of dancing and singing (but only when no one is looking or listening), a mad-skilled ping-pong player, and prefers writing at the swimming pool to writing at a table

More On Liasare

Liasare is this frightened young woman who is searching for her brother and best friend in the universe. He’s been missing for a couple of months and no one will tell her anything. She heads back down to Earth, which is now a dystopia because an extremely form of small pox swept across the globe and annihilated seventy percent of the human population. Scared and unsure of herself, she puts up a facade of courage and begins her search. On the first day there, she meets Jurek and things explode between them.

He, of course, is a douche and she has never dealt with men before. Her brother has protected her from them and due to an accident as a young girl, she has shied away from any kind of relationships with men. So she is completely in the weeds with him. But the attraction between them is so strong she can’t walk away. Then, the icing on the cake is when he offers her his protection in this dangerous place she finds herself and even offers to help her in her search for her brother. She has no choice but to accept because she truly is in fear for her life.  

And so it begins...the romance between them is like that of a dogfight. She doesn’t back down and he isn’t used to having any kinds of emotions where women are concerned. She acts all tough but inside she is quivering at the mere thought of him. And then they have this undeniable connection between them. For some reason (that the reader uncovers later on) they can’t seem to be apart from each other. And boy do the sparks fly between these too and many times in a not so good way.  

But if you want to find out more and what happens, you’re just going to have to read Dark Waltz!

 I love, love, love this book; for starters it talks a bit about the chupacabra legend, is supposed to be an "animal" that has the habit of attacking and drinking the blood of livestockt mostly goats. The author used this legend in an amazing way, webbing it with her story and creating something unique.

 

 

Vic Vargas is a rancher, a one of a kind rancher he also runs a bar and just became the proud papá of a teen boy he didn´t knew existed. He works his behind off trying to get close to his boy, but never actually achieves it and knowing taht his long lost love is back in town turn his life into a complete wreck.

 

Laney can´t or forget what hapened the night she and Vic where going to elope to get married, she is trapped in her memories and that is destroying her life and her sanity night by night. The prospect of seeing Vic again is...

 

I adored this book, you guys know how much I like second chances and this one is on top of the list. The plot is certanly not for the faint of heart as it touches several very dark subjects and has really HAWT sex scenes, soooo pls if you are underaged, you know the drill. Sorry =D

 

 

Theres also the coolest curandera "a healer"  Esperanza is all kinds of creepy and she holds the truths to all the questions, the bad thing, she talks in riddles so undertsanding what she say is next to imossible LOL!!!

 

Vic and Laney are really perfect together and their tory is something you guys can´t miss. Misa Ramirez is an amazing storyteller , she used the perfect amount of suspense, mistery, romance and action, to make this story perfect.

 

She is also pretty good at making me guess, there wasa moment in the story that I was pretty sure I had everything figured ou and then... I was WRONG!!!!!!!!!!

 

Thisbook was everything I was expecting and then some, Melisa Bourbon Ramirez is an authoor to look out for. I´ll def. look for her books from now on.
