USA TODAY Bestselling Author
Jennifer L. Armentrout

She shares her home with her husband, his K-9 partner named Diesel, and her hyper Jack Russell Loki. Her dreams of becoming an author started in algebra class, where she spent her time writing short stories...therefore explaining her dismal grades in math. Jennifer writes Adult and Young Adult Urban Fantasy and Romance. She is represented by Kevan Lyon of Marsal Lyon Literary Agency.

"History is on repeat, and things didn't go so well the last time. "
Alexandria isn't sure she's going to make it to her eighteenth birthday--to her Awakening. A long-forgotten, fanatical order is out to kill her, and if the Council ever discovers what she did in the Catskills, she's a goner... and so is Aiden.
If that's not freaky enough, whenever Alex and Seth spend time "training"--which really is just Seth's code word for some up-close and personal one-on-one time--she ends up with another mark of the Apollyon, which brings her one step closer to Awakening ahead of schedule. Awesome.
But as her birthday draws near, her entire world shatters with a startling revelation and she's caught between love and Fate. One will do anything to protect her. One has been lying to her since the beginning. Once the gods have revealed themselves, unleashing their wrath, lives will be irrevocably changed... and destroyed.
Those left standing will discover if love is truly greater than Fate...

Can you say Blown away??
This book is so good that my emotions where all over the place.

I laughed, swooned, cried like there´s no tomorrow.

Jennifer L. Armentrout is the Absolute Queen of YA with the perfect amount of action, sexual tension  and Romance. No one writes books like she does, she knows exactly what buttons to push on her readers to achive the most extreme reactions.

Deity is no exeption, we get an action packed flawless plot since the first page and the fact that JLA doesn´t need to fluff it up to make the most out of the story is impresive.

Alex grows exponentially, she learns some truths that change her view of things and is forced to take some pretty dramatic choices that set the tone for the whole book., you know... the tragedy of knowledge and how it changes things. (you´ll see what I mean when you read it =D)

I have to say that I wasn´t Team Aiden, I did like Seth a lot; the whole bad/goofy boy thing he had going on it was alluring in some weird psycho way. but at times on this book I wanted to...

Ohh Yeah!! my emotions where raw, I wanted to scream and kick some Seth butt.

Aiden was in one word Amazing!!! as always he is the one that brings some sort of balance to Alex and I´m def. happy, with how their relationship progressed... Swoon!!! this guy with his dreamy eyes and his attitude had me drooling over him like 90% of the book. I have to come clean here and say that I was Team Seth but not anymore, cause now I know that there can´t be no one better for Alex than Aiden.

Bottom line is that I laughed, Cried got angry and all angsty over this book, and I can´t wait t read the next one. The hardest thing I ever had to do was close this book and realize that I have a long wait till Apollyon gets here.

Jennifer L. Armenttrout is my fav. Author ever and after that cruel, heart stopping ending all I can say is. BRAVO!!!!! Jen you truly know how to push my buttons. I was left a mess and all I can think of is...

I need Apollyon now!!

Ohh and in case you guys are wondering this book deserves the Book Addict + score =D

Now, Now in order to be fair with you guys im going to show you a bit about Deity, maybe that way you´ll understand why im so loving this series

"Because I love you we share each other's problems. When we fight, we fight together. I'm going to be by your side no matter what, whether you like it or not."
"I tensed, my chest tightening. His breath was warm and tantalizing on my lips, and then they brushed across mine so softly. That simple act stole my breath, my heart. But even as he pulled away, I realized that he couldn't steal something he already had."

Heart by Jacqueline Paige Blog Tour

Hi guys *Waves*  Is been a couple of busy weeks for me so I´m thrilled and honored to be hosting a stop on the Heart Blog tour.

Heart is the first book on Jacqueline Page´s Animal Trilogy. I´m really interested on this trilogy the premise looked good, hehehe!!! it sounded effing hawt so yeah it sounded great for me LOL!!! Hey but don´t trust me,take a look.

Three women without knowledge of their true heritage...
Three men that have waited for their mate all of their lives...

Hearts and tempers collide with wild passions and animal instincts
in the Animal Trilogy

Here is the blurb of Heart check it out

Torn from her sheltered life, Rayne is alone and scared after she discovers her fiancé is not the man she thought he was. Unable to accept the corrupt world he belongs to, she flees to the furthest possible location she can reach on her own. Nothing could ever prepare her for the journey and what she finds out when she arrives.
Is she strong enough to survive on her own?
The epitome of the lone wolf, Devin stays in the wilderness and far away from people, avoiding the decision of whether to accept his title as leader and alpha of the pack. One alluring woman stirs up his resolve and passion when she disturbs his solitary world. The man inside is tempted in a way he can’t understand but his wolf knows he’s found his mate.
Can he have her without succumbing to the responsibilities waiting for him?

Sounds Interesting Right? Well it sounded really good for me so yeah I went for it and asked to review this one. Yes I admit my problem I know, I´m adicted to books hence my blogs name =D but what can I do?, Is not like im addicted to cigarretes (at least not anymore, non smoker for 7 months now) so yeah I accept and own my problem I´m addicted to sexy, sazzy, hawt books that promise to make my skin crawl. hehehehe.

Anyway getting back in topic, I along with my review got a nice little excerpt to show you guys so here you go:

Excerpt:

If nothing else she was warmer now. How long would the rain last? Do I want to wait it out and then try to find a washroom – in the dark? Rayne shook her head before she could go any further with that thought. There was no way she was getting out of this car until it was light out, rain or no rain. How many hours until daylight? She debated very briefly whether she could squirm around and reach the purse to get her phone. Highly doubtful. Besides being cocooned in the puffy material, the phone was off for a reason and turning it on just to check the time wasn’t worth the risk of Aiden being able to trace the location. Truthfully she didn’t know if that was possible even though all the movies referenced it being so, but understanding what type of man Aiden was and what he was capable of, she wasn’t taking any chances.

Working one arm free from the bag, she shifted far enough forward to reach the ignition; he couldn’t track the cars clock. Turning the key, her heart sunk when she noted the time, there were too many hours left until dawn. She looked out the windshield and froze, her heart jumped into her throat. Afraid to so much as breathe, Rayne stared at the animal a few feet away from the headlight. Her brain first said dog, but that was no dog. That was a wolf; it had to be a wolf. Were wolves that big? It seemed bigger than in any pictures she’d seen.

She sat there looking at it, not sure if she should honk the horn or just sit and try not to get hysterical waiting for it to leave. The car may be metal, but the roof was something this animal could probably get through. As she continued to stare at it she couldn’t help thinking it was a beautiful creature. It’s grey and brown fur looked soft and thick, not that she’d ever be able to find out if it was. It was the way the haunting grey eyes watched her that made her decide not to honk the horn or scream as loud as she could, which had crossed her mind briefly. Rayne was fairly certain it was as surprised to see her as she was to see it. Didn’t wolves travel as group? A pack? She wanted to look around and see if there were more in the trees, but the logical part of her brain said she was better off not knowing. Never argue with the logical part.

She was sure she stopped breathing all together when it took a step closer to the car and then turned quickly back towards the trees. As she was reaching for the keys it stopped and looked back at her for the length of two heart beats before it bolted into the trees and disappeared.

Turning off the key, she sat in the dark leaning back against the seat while she tried to remind her body how to take air in. In this moment with her heart beating so loud she could hear it, or at least it felt that way, Rayne reached the decision that she was not getting out of the car until daylight, and even then was questionable. One more conclusion was also not turning the lights on again; her mental state was much better not knowing what else was outside of the car. She checked to make sure the door was locked, she did know a wolf wouldn’t just walk up and use the door handle, but she felt better knowing that she was locked in and more importantly other things were locked out.
Pulling her arm back into the sleeping bag, Rayne shuffled down as far as she could and closed her eyes. The sooner she slept, the closer daylight was to getting here. Over the noise of the water beating off the car, she thought she heard a howl.

ok so , here is my review so you can guys check out what I thought about it =D

My Review

I´ve read so many shifters book recently, that every time, it gets harder for me to get excited about a book. Thank God for books like Heart.
I loved the take on shifters of Jacqueline Paige, even though we have seen it all, she has a fresh, sexy and at times cute intake.
Rayne is a lost young woman that founds herself between a rock and a hard place, she is alone in this world and her fiancé is not who she thought he was.  Her only options are to stay with him knowing that he is dangerous or run away as fast and far as she can.
She ends up in surrounded by wilderness and completely alone.
Devin is a lone wolf, he literally guards his property and no trespasser is allowed. He runs away not only from his family but from himself. His fears and doubts keep him away from people and his destiny, until Rayne ends up camping on his backyard.
I loved this book, it was fresh and a very sweet and quick read and sexy as hell too. You guys know how much I hate the insta love kinda book, but Devin and Rayne have a reason why they are instantly attracted to each other ,plus it´s not  love more like insta chemistry and sexual vibe kinda thing.
The plot is really cute and the way the relationship between the main characters develops was charming, the fact that Devin was a nervous wreck when he was around Rayne had me awwwwing (BTW I know that’s not a word) a couple of times.
I´m looking forward to read the next title, I do hope there´s some more about Devin and Rayne´s story. Cause I have one or two questions without answer.

“Switch clothes.”
Kiana blinked at Finn. It was such a simple order but she couldn’t make her arms move to obey him.
“Now!”
Slowly, Kiana turned to look at her handmaid. Erynn’s eyes were red and puffy, her face smudged with dirt from the tunnel and her blonde hair dishevelled. The girl’s shoulders shook as she pulled the plain brown surcoat over her head and held it out to Kiana. Like Kiana, she also wore an undyed woollen underdress that preserved modesty. Kiana stared at the surcoat and then at Erynn. Her lower lip trembled and a lump formed in her throat that threatened to choke her.
“Now, Kiana!” Finn kept glancing towards Ciall, who was standing at the tunnel entrance.
Sunlight filtered in, providing enough light to see by deeper in the tunnel. Kiana could hear the sounds of fighting in the distance. Swords clanged against each other, feet thundered over wood and men screamed. She clamped her hands over her ears and sank down so that she was crouching.
Finn was shouting at her. Kiana shook her head and squeezed her eyes tightly shut. She wouldn’t listen. How could he ask her to send Erynn out to die?
A pair of hands closed over hers and pulled them away from her ears.
“Kiana.”
Kiana couldn’t immediately put a name to the gentle voice. Slowly, she opened her eyes. Nidan was crouching in front of her, eyes alert, body tense, but there was a kindness in his face.
“We don’t have time to think,” he said. “You need to do as Finn says.”
“But…”
“Don’t think.” He was right. “You have to live.”
Right again. She stood and pulled her surcoat off with numb fingers. Erynn helped her into the rough wool garment. It irritated the nape of her neck. It doesn’t matter! She watched as Erynn pulled on the golden surcoat. Kiana had always wondered why she and Erynn looked so alike. Now it was clear: Erynn was the perfect decoy. Kiana shivered violently. Her stomach lurched. She turned away and threw up. Once she had recovered, Nidan offered her a scrap of cloth. She cleaned her mouth and then managed to force a grateful smile to her lips.
“We split into two groups,” Finn said. “Bran and Coran will take Erynn.” He looked at Nidan. “You’re with me and Ciall.”
Kiana had enough wits to see Nidan’s eyebrows raise as his mouth dropped open. Under different circumstances, his expression might have been comical.
“Let’s go!”
She forced herself to follow Finn out of the tunnel, expecting to see Wolves at any moment.
Finn must have sensed Kiana’s nervousness. He paused and glanced at her. “From what we could see, the Wolves are concentrated around the moat. It’s unlikely they’ll find this entrance.”
Kiana nodded. They had run through the tunnel for what felt like an eternity, and the fighting sounded so distant. Despite Finn’s assurances, Kiana stared after the other group as they vanished into the forest. They had to stay safe. They had to.

Now,lets welcome Clare Davidson, who is going to share something really cool with us.

The Night Before the Assault
I thought I'd share a short scene that takes place before the opening chapter of Trinity:
The camp was quiet. The Wolves hadn't lit any fires–it was too much of a risk. Skaric lay on a rough blanket, staring up at the night sky. A blanket of stars spread above the camp, the only witnesses to the Wolves' presence at the edge of the forest. Inside was Blackoak Tower, allegedly the home of the incarnation of Miale.
"Can't sleep?"
Skaric didn't need to see Vali to recognise his friend. He tucked his hands beneath his head. "I'd rather be on watch."
Vali chuckled. His bedroll plopped to the floor beside Skaric and he absently kicked it out. "We're far too important to waste our energy on watch, Skaric," he said in a mocking tone.
Skaric rolled his eyes.
"Do you think we really will find the Miale bitch in that tower?"
Skaric shrugged. "That's what we've been told."
Vali stretched out on his side, propping himself up on his elbow so he could face Skaric. "People lie… even under torture."
Neither of them had been present. They hadn't seen the man's face or heard his words. Only Berend had.
"The war leader doesn't do anything that has the potential to make him look bad." Skaric kept his voice low. "Berend must be sure she's there." The name tangled on his tongue and left a bad taste in his mouth. It was no secret that they didn't get along.
"It could be a decoy."
A smile spread across Skaric's lips. "We'll know."
Vali flopped onto his back. "Oh yes. Her telltale amber eyes. What if that's just a myth?"
"You're very pessimistic tonight," Skaric chuckled. "It's a fact that's been handed down from Alpha to Alpha for a thousand years. It's true." He felt the strength of his conviction in his words. "A god cannot inhabit a mortal body without leaving a physical mark."
He closed his eyes, allowing the subdued sounds of the camp to wash over him. Hushed voices chatted in scattered clusters. Horses snorted and swished their tails. Leather creaked under the pressure of heavy-handed polishing. The stench of unwashed men and horse dung made the air in the camp uncomfortable to breathe. Tension filled the air, carried by anxious whispers and unseen stares.
"At least Berend is the one who'll face your father's wrath if this is a waste of time," Vali said.
Tension coiled in the pit of Skaric's stomach. He opened his eyes. The sky seemed even blacker, the stars more accusing.
"If we fail…"
"We won't fail," Skaric snapped. They couldn't. He rolled over, turning his back on Vali. "Get some sleep."
He held his breath for several heartbeats until Vali's grumbling and shuffling subsided. He tugged his blanket around his shoulders, but still shivered. He would be glad when the assault was over, no matter what the outcome.
